MOA Farmer-to-Farmer Mentoring Program: Expectations of Menteeship

As a mentee in the MOA Farmer-to-Farmer Mentoring Program, you are expected to fulfill the following:

Attend the Organic Farming Conference workshops and any available farm tours in February 2010 and 2011.
Work with the mentor for one crop season on his farm; or if you are currently farming your own land, consult with your mentor via phone calls or emails to discuss farming issues and to keep in touch on your organic certification progress.
Pay $200 to be part of this program to reimburse your mentor and to cover administration fees.
Cooperate with MOA to communicate project progress with MOA President periodically throughout the year.
Complete a final evaluation form.
