MOA Farmer-to-Farmer Mentoring Program: Expectations of Mentorship

 

As a mentor in the MOA Farmer-to-Farmer Mentoring Program, you are expected to fulfill the following:

  • Mentor one or two farmers during the crop season.
  • Attend the Missouri Organic Association Conference 2010 and 2011
  • Sponsor the mentee to available conferences and farm tours if the mentee is financially unable to attend
  • Answer the mentee’s questions via phone calls, emails, or other form of communication
  • Monitor the mentee’s progress on a regularly scheduled progress report form
  • Discuss program with MOA periodically throughout the crop season
  • Complete a final evaluation form
